Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortensen and more star in The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King movie as Legolas the elf, Aragorn and Frodo the hobbit. Kidzworld reviews the last movie in the Lord of the Rings trilogy - Return of the King.

The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy has been the biggest thing to hit theaters ever. The Fellowship of the Ring introduced Gandalf, Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli, Frodo and the rest of the heroic hobbits as they began their quest to destroy the One Ring. In The Two Towers it was time for a royal rumble as Saruman and a billion orcs tried to wipe out the heroes. The Return of the King wraps up the epic story with a final three and a half hours of bladder-bursting goodness.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Battles

The Return of the King is all about the final battle between good and evil and it delivers the eye candy. There are more orcs than you've ever seen, a horde of warriors, huge elephant beasts, trolls, knights in shining armor and more giant monsters than a Godzilla movie. It mixes them all into an epic movie that rocks from the start and doesn't quit until the last orc falls.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Drama

Get this - The Return of the King has more than just tons of action. It's a well-acted tearjerker as well. The story of Sam, Frodo and Gollum struggling to get to Mount Doom is awesome. Also, Pippin has one of the coolest moments in the movie when he's in Gondor and sings a song for Faramir. The Return of the King hits all the right notes and never comes across as cheesy.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Weaknesses

There are a few weaknesses with The Return of the King but not many. The biggest is that, unless you're a Lord of the Rings fan, the slow beginning may bore you. There are also some weird moments in Mordor - it takes the heroes forever to get there, but once they're inside it's about a five-minute walk from one end to the other.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Final Word

Huge action, Legolas kicking butt, an awesome story full of cool acting and detail so amazing it'll knock your socks off. The only thing this movie needs is a jumbo sized snack-pack, or some elven lembas bread.
