If you love watching movies with your family, here’s another one to add to your must-see list. A Plumm Summer from Fairplay Pictures and Paramount Studios Home Entertainment is now out on DVD, and it’s definitely going to become one of those classic “family movie night” selections!

Kidnap Caper
A Plumm Summer – a funny, moving film that’s actually based on a true story – starts when the citizens of a small town are rocked by the kidnapping of their famous and beloved local television star – a frog puppet named Froggy Doo. Two young brothers – Elliott and Rocky Plumm – decide to take matters into their own hands, truck down the puppet and save the day.

Teaming up with their new (and cute!) neighbor, Haley, Elliott and Rocky need to figure out how to become friends and work together to avoid the FBI agents who have somehow become involved in the case. Beyond that, the two brothers must deal with the constant bickering of their mom and dad, and Elliott, who’s growing up fast, struggles to find his own place in the world.

The detective trio come up with a list of possible suspects that includes the local bully, a general-store clerk, a couple of mighty suspicious-looking FBI agents, and even Viv, the wife of Happy Herb who shared the TV spotlight with Froggy Doo.

To find out whodunit, you’ll have to watch this sweet, funny adventure yourself!
