An unbiased review of Disneys G-Force game for the Wii intended for a young audience and parents.

The world is under attack from deadly transforming household appliances. The only thing stopping them are a handful of creatures that literally can fit in your hands. In this video game adaptation of Disney's latest digital 3-D movie, G-Force, you take control of the action.

Charles Darwin Would Be Proud

In G-Force, you play mainly as Darwin, the leader of the secret FBI team of animals. You are fully equipped at the start of the game, with a jetpack, electro-whip, and plasma gun ready for use immediately. The James Bond-like jetpack allows you to double jump and reach new heights and distance while the whip and gun are used to attack enemies and break obstacles. All your weapons can be upgraded by collecting computer chips and finding the hidden disks in each stage.

There are only a few missions in the game, but each are broken up into many stages. The levels follow the story from the movie in general but gives you extra scenes to watch and participate in. Every now and then you can also use Mooch, the housefly, who carries a disruption gun and can slow down time. Having all these great gadgets have a downside, however, as you will have to remember a lot of different controls while playing the game.

G for Great

You will really feel like a secret agent as you play through the game. All the action and gadgets are extremely cool and the game's graphics are excellent, making everything look amazing as you flip and dodge enemies while hitting them with your weapons.

There are a few minor complaints with the camera being annoying sometimes and there are some repetitive animations that are unskippable. However, these do not take away from the fun of the game. Even if you have not watched the movie yet, you will still enjoy this game!
