Mario & Luigi is back in another Superstars RPG game. As usual, they get under Bowsers skin, only this time its literal! See how digestible this game is in our review.

You should keep your friends and keep your enemies closer. Mario & Luigi get closer than ever to Bowser when he inhales them, along with the entire Mushroom Kingdom! Fawful returns and tricks Bowser with a weird mushroom that proves to be more than he can stomach. Now Bowser must fight to take back his castle from Fawful while Mario & Luigi help out from inside his body, giving him a strength boosts at crucial times and beating up any intruders.

Classic Dish with a Anatomical Twist

If you have played a Mario & Luigi RPG game before, then you will know what this series is about. You travel around the world, following a light and funny story. There are enemies walking around that you will battle if you touch them.

The battle sequence uses timed button pushing. If you push the correct button just before your attack lands, you can dish out extra damage. Similarly, if you push to jump at the right time, you can dodge an attack, or even counter-attacking for damage when it isn't even your turn! This time around, you also get to play as Bowser, who comes armed with a different set of moves, including a killer punch and fire hot breath.

The Good, the Bad, the Fawful

You won't be playing as Mario & Luigi too much, as most of the story focuses on Bowser. Other complaints include the characters, who sometimes talk too much, and the giant battles, where you have to hold the DS vertically and awkwardly.

If you loved the previous Mario & Luigi games, you will love this one as well. The story is great and funny and the battle action is intense. Overall, the game is great, possibly the best game in the series yet. Even if you do not like RPGs, you will find enjoyment in the battle system of Mario & Luigi.
