Kidzworld Review

All Star Cheer Squad 2 for Wii - release date October 27, 2009 - is – as you most probably already guessed – the sequel to All Star Cheer Squad the original. Basically, game No. 2 in the series continues the fast-paced adventure through competitive cheerleading competitions, stunts and teamwork – but this version the game’s multiplayer and includes more original cheer music than the first time around!

Cheer Around The World

All Star Cheer Squad 2 will have you traveling to 14 exotic locations to compete at various cheerleading contests that have all been choreographed by Tony G - who also came up with the routines in the Bring It On movies. He was a cheering consultant on this game.

In this sequel you’re no longer a rookie cheerleading – you start out by playing the captain of the Tiger Squad and it’s your responsibility to lead the rest of the team to ultimate cheerleading victory by making good use of an all-new move set. Don’t be afraid to try out the real-world aerial stunts, tumbling tricks, formation changes and advanced moves on your Wii Balance Board accessory.

Two Times The Fun

Also new in this version of All Star Cheer Squad is the fact that moves can be executed using two Wii remotes instead of just one, which means more movement within the game itself. The game’s also got a lot of new customizable features. For example, you get to pick your own squad members (including guy cheerleading, for the first time!) and then personalize them with makeup, hair and uniforms you choose yourself!

Musical Moves

All Star Cheer Squad 2 features even more original cheer music for you to perform to. You’ll also experience an upgraded routine editor that features a music mixer, a choreography editor that will make all your routines totally unique and be able to challenge your friends online using WiiConnect24. Hip, hip, hooray!
