Pro Pack Mini Review

Aug 23, 2010

Here it is at last: a Wii Remote and Nunchuk that are 35% smaller than the standard Wii Remote and Nunchuk! It’s called the Pro Pack Mini and Kidzworld was lucky enough to review this amazing new product for all you gamers out there!

Bigger Isn’t Always Better

The first thing you may ask is are smaller-size substitutions really gonna be as good or work as well as the real thing? In the case of Pro Pack Mini, the answer is YUP! Once you hold these little guys in your hands, you can totally tell that while they may be smaller, they look, feel and work just as well as their bigger Wii cousins!

Wii Remote

The mini Wii Remote feels great! It’s got a nice rubber grip that’s similar to the Wii Remote jacket, except you can’t take it on and off. There’s a nice, big, round A button at the top, with Plus, Minus and Home buttons lower down. All the buttons work well and are easy to use, and they all glow, which is really cool and useful!

Wii Nunchuk

The mini Wii Nunchuk is also totally comfy to hold in your hand and it’s got an easy-to-use analog stick at the top. The buttons also work really well and, like the action buttons on the Wii Remote, they’re all backlit which comes in handy if you like to play games in the dark.

Bottom Line: Pro Pack Mini

Basically, we think the Pro Pack Mini packs a powerful punch in terms of being cool, easy to use and totally handy. The mini Wii Remote and Nunchuk work every bit as well as the larger versions. Plus, battery life on these babies is great. If you wanna save some cash or experiment with a smaller control, this is a great choice for you!
