Everyone knows Nick Jonas as part of the successful hit pop-rock band, The Jonas Brothers! Along with his two brothers, Kevin and Joe, they’ve been making albums since 2006 and have millions of fans around the world! What a lot of people don’t know is that the group originally started out as just a solo project Nick’s singing career. When the record producer realized his two brothers could also sing, he liked the sound of them as a band so much that the Jonas Brothers was formed! Nick is the youngest of his three brother band members and was born on September 16th, 1992. Joe Jonas was born in 1989 and Kevin Jonas in 1987. Nick was born in Dallas, Texas but was raised with his brothers in Wyckoff, New Jersey.

Nick’s Early Musical Career
By the time Nick was only eleven years old, he had already starred onstage in a number of Broadway musicals! He was discovered at age six waiting for his mother in a barber shop and got a role in a Broadway musical by age seven! He has performed in the plays Annie, Beauty and the Beast, A Christmas Carol, The Sound of Music and Les Miserables.

Nick’s Solo Projects
In 2009 Nick started working on his own solo project, a side project band called Nick Jonas and The Administration. They released an album in February 2010 after going on tour in January for a month. It was the first time that Nick has toured without his brothers! He also has starred with his brothers in the movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and is currently on a world Jonas Brothers tour with Demi Lovato and the cast of Camp Rock 2. Jo Bros No More
The Jonas Brothers kept fans on the edge of their seat for awhile there - taking breaks, doing solo projects, dangling the possibility of a reunion (more than once!) they officially announced their split in 2013 just days before they were set to embark on a huge renuion tour - talk about drama! With older brother Kevin focusing on family life and everyone feeling serious "creative differences" they decided they were brothes first and bandmates after, and it was better to go their separate ways musically. Lucky for Nick this actually gave him a chance to shine. Over the years fans got glimpses of what an amazinf performer and songwriter he is on his own, but the official spluit started a whole new chapter for Nick.

In a surprise move Nick signed on as the creative director for one of his best friend's tours - Demi Lovato! On the Neon Lights tour he even came out to sing a few songs with his BFF. In November 2014 he quietly released a new solo album, just titled Nick Jonas, to rave reviews. The single "Jealous" especially caught people's attention - and the video stars his girlfriend, Olivia Culpo (also known as the current Miss Universe!)
