The little game that could is back and bigger than ever! Read our review on Little Big Planet 2 to see all thats new and improved!

Little Big Planet was a PlayStation 3 exclusive game that focused on platforming and level creation. It gave players many tools that they could use to make incredible creations and share it with other players online. Little Big Planet 2 expands on this, making the game even more fun and making it even easier to create and share levels, ensuring that the game can be enjoyed endlessly.

Always Better to Share

Making levels in the first Little Big Planet game was pretty complicated. While Little Big Planet 2 tries really hard to make things easier, but there are still some things that are hard to figure out. Along with levels, you can also make mini-game like creations, as well as add your own voiceovers, movies, and music.

What has improved a lot is the online sharing and viewing of creations. It is very easy to explore other people's creations and find more good creations to download.

Negativity

The game comes with a great 30 level story mode where you travel around the world to defeat Negativitron. The story is pretty simple, but the levels are awesome. Each level is very unique and they get better and more challenging as you go through the story. Overall, the story mode is a bit short, but there is a lot of replay value here still.

You can play with up to three friends locally or online. There are a good number of mini-game-like versus levels that you can also bring out for parties.

Overall, the game is awesome without a doubt. Floaty controls and long load times are still an issue, but there is so much new stuff to do. Little Big Planet 2 has support for the new Move controller, which means some user creations in the future might include it even though there is no real motion control included in the story levels.
