America’s Got Talent: Season 7, Episode 10 :: San Francisco Auditions

Jul 19, 2012

This week on America’s Got Talent (Season 7, Episode 10), the judges concluded their audition tour in San Francisco. Read Kidzworld’s recap of the “San Francisco Auditions,” which aired on June 18, 2012, to discover what you missed.

Smooch Piggy

This week kicked off with the outrageous performances, including Smooch Piggy, whose only talent was tooting a small bicycle horn. Unfortunately, she preferred to spend more time lying down on the floor than performing. Perhaps Smooch Piggy has stage fright.

Lil Starr

Lil Starr, a 6-year-old tap dancer, proved she’s got what it takes to bring the house down. She may not have won Howard’s vote, but her two yeses from Sharon and Howie sent her through to Vegas.

The Shy Comedian

Next we met a super shy 23-year-old comedian named Jacob Williams, who’s afraid of speaking in front of large crowds. Naturally, you'd think he would have bombed on stage, but shockingly, he didn’t! As soon as he took the microphone in hand, he transformed and delivered some hilarious one-liners. He was definitely the MVP of the night.

The Fast Talker

787 Crew was a dance crew from Puerto Rico who impressed Howie with some original moves. Then came Trish Paytas, who stood out for all the wrong reasons. Her bleach blond hair and too short, skin tight pink dress was like a car wreck you couldn’t tear your eyes away from. Her so-called “talent” of rapping, or rather talking incredibly fast, was just annoying. But she admitted that she just made up the talent so that she could meet her crush, Howard Stern. Flattered, Howard climbed onto the stage and danced around with Trish.

The Joyfyl Joyners

The final contestant of the night was 21-year-old Mary Joyner, daughter of track and field athletes Al Joyner and the late Flo-Jo. Mary isn’t a track star. Instead, she decided to pursue her own talent - singing. While she wasn’t amazing with a capital A, she was good enough to receive a standing ovation and three yeses.
