Top 10 Kids of Athletes

Mar 21, 2013

Whether you love em or they drive you crazy, we all have the exactly same DNA as our parents... sometimes this works in our favor. For example, take the top 10 kids from star athletes. If your mom or dad is a star athlete, you might want to consider following an athletic career. Here are the Top 10 Kids of Athletes.

#10 - SHAQ and Shareef

Shaquille O'Neil was the most dominant player of the late 90s and early 2000s. But considering his free throw shooting technique, you can probably thank his body size for all his NBA rings. So everybody is wondering... will Shareef, Shaq;s son, become as big as his pops? We'll know in the next couple of years.

#9 - Ken and Ken Norton Jr

Ken the dad was such a good boxer, he broke Mahumad Ali's jaw for the World Championship. His son Ken Jr was such a good linebacker, he was the first player in the NFL to win 3 consecutive Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys.

#8 - Rick and Brent Barry

These guys were such awesome basketball shooters, they didn't even have the same technique. Pappa Rick used to shoot free throws between his legs.

#7 - Ken and Ken Griffey Jr

Two more Ken's were amazing baseball players. Maybe the name "Ken" will also have and athletic advantage like the genetics. If you're superstitious, you should name your son "Ken"!

#6 - Dale and Dale Earnhard Jr

Two more father and sons with the same first name. Maybe having the same name brings the father and son together so the son learns more how to succeed. Dale taught Dale Jr well, cause they were both the best NASCAR racers ever.

#5 - Calvin and Grant Hill

This combo is a wierd one. Calvin was a NFL football player for the Dallas Cowboys, but Grant became a basketball player in the NBA. Oh well, science won't explain why Grant chose to play a different sport.

#4 - Mahumad and Laila Ali

It doesn't get any better than this... they're the two best boxers of all time... one for each gender.

#3 - Bobby and Brett Hull

If anyone taught Brett Hull how to shoot a slap shot... it was his pops... Bobby.

#2 - Michael Jordan and his two sons Jeffrey and Marcus

How awesome would it be if your daily basketball coach was the greatest athlete of all-time?

#1 - Archie and Peyton and Eli Manning

The most serious position in the most serious sport, is the Quarterback. Peyton Manning is probably the best quarterback of all time and Eli wins Superbowls like nothing. You can probably thank their dad Archie for teaching him the ropes.
