What can one kid do when hes been forgotten at Christmas and hes up against two bumbling crooks? Home Alone 25th Anniversary Collection comes to blu-ray.

The franchise begins as eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) has become the man of the house, overnight! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin's rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome them!

The Bottom Line

Home Alone and it's sequels managed to playfully capture the imagination of audiences everywhere. What can one kid do when he's been forgotten and he's up against two bumbling crooks? A lot, if the Home Alone movies are anything to go by! It's great comedic series that makes us laugh while reminding us, not everything at Christmas is as fun and easy as it seems. Sometimes it's downright stressful, and it's not the worst thing if you get left out of it - you may even have your own adventure!

The first thing that's bound to grab you about the 25th Anniversary release is it's cool and unusual packaging. All five films are together in a collectible paint can, along with tons of Home Alone memorabilia - like a McCallister family christmas ornament, a wanted poster for HA burglars, a tarantula and a battle plan for the Wet Bandits. That paint can is packed! The paint can isn't the best reason to get the Anniversary collection, the biggest reason to take it home is having all five adventures together, in crisp blu-ray. If you really need to pass the time this holiday season, this collection will keep the whole family occupied.
