Kidzworld member, gnarlydude28 loves Yellowcard and their music. He's decided you all should get the 411 on their CD Ocean Avenue. Check out his review!

If you have watched every episode of Smallville and/or "The O.C." so far this season or if you have ever played Madden 2004 you have probably heard one or two of Yellowcard's songs off their new album Ocean Avenue.

Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue: High Tide

Yellowcard has a magnificent mixture of songs and melodies such as Way Away and Ocean Avenue. They also have a violin player in their ranks by the name of Sean Mackin who is joined by Ryan Key-vocals/guitar, Ben Harper - guitar, Longinue (LP) Parsons III - drums, Alex Lewis - bass.

Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue: Low Tide

In some songs if you'd take the violin out it would sound better because it sounds like a psycho guitar with broken strings.

Yellowcard: Excellent Tunes

Now let me leave you with some of my fave songs off the album:
  • Way Away - the lyrics are basically saying that you are in control of your own future.
  • Empty Apartment - a good song about friendship.
  • Only One - written at last minute, this song has an unbelievable chorus!
  • 23 - amazing vocals done by Sean Mackin instead of Ryan Key.
  • Believe - this song has the ability to change anyone's and everyone's day.
  • Back Home - a back track on Way Away saying when and if you leave home there's a lot of stuff you're going to miss.
