Pitfall The Lost Expedition for the Xbox video game console is a great action adventure game thats funny and worth playing.

Love adventure? Crazy crocs? How about mad archeologists and girls with glasses? How about talking cheetahs, trigger-happy howler monkeys and jungle natives with a bad attitude? Well, if you said yes to any of those then you'll definitely want to swing on to Xbox's Pitfall jungle adventure, cuz it's got all that and more.

Pitfall The Lost Expedition - Where's the Map?

Pitfall Harry (that's you) is having the strangest 24 hours of his life. It all starts in 1935 with Harry on a plane headed for Peru, to check out a newly discovered temple with Nicole McAllister (whom Harry thinks is a total hottie). Suddenly there's an "accident" and both Harry and the plane are headed down - fast. From there all you have to do is navigate your way through 50 or so levels of jungle, arctic and Aztec adventure, save the team, outsmart your Australian arch nemesis, save the world and get the girl. Oh yeah, and go toe-to-toe with a magical jaguar god.

Pitfall The Lost Expedition - Idols

Let's get this straight right off the top; this game is fun to play. They've covered just about every angle of gaming - fighter, platformer and explorer. Plus, the story is a blast. The characters feel totally developed and, get this, they're actually funny! As if that wasn't enough, the graphics kick! (Classic vine swinging takes the cake). Harry's sense of humor, style and accuracy with a slingshot also rocks. And, it's so much fun to play - have we mentioned that yet?

Pitfall The Lost Expedition - Sacrifices

Well, to be perfectly honest, there isn't too much to slam about Xbox's Pitfall. The biggest bummer is that once you get the hang of things, it doesn't seem to get much more difficult.

Pitfall The Lost Expedition - The Final Word

It's just super-sweet, Indiana Jones-style, vine-swinging, jaw-dropping, kung fu-kicking fun. For real.
