Duel Masters TCG: Stomp-A-Trons of Invincible Wrath Set Review

Dec 27, 2006

The Stomp-A-Trons of Invincible Wrath have arrived for the Duel Masters card game. This is the fifth set of new cards for the game of battling monsters, strategy and Kaijudo skills. If you want the basics of the Duel Masters game, they're right here. For the 411 on this new 60-card expansion set, we have the scoop right here. Check it out!

What's Stompin' in the Stomp-A-Trons of Invincible Wrath?

The biggest thing about this Duel Masters set is super-uber-huge Invincible cards. There's one for each civilization and they're strong enough to win the game in one turn, except for the Light one which is lame. There are also lots of Evolution and Survivor monsters, which is great news. Plus, the really cool ultra-rare monster cards are really easy to use!

Are the Stomp-A-Trons of Invincible Wrath a Heap of Junk?

Bummer time! Remember those hugely powerful Invincible cards? Well, they're so expensive that there's almost no way to use them in a serious game, unless you're using a super-fast Nature deck. There are also a bunch of cards that are repeats from older sets, which is weak!

Duel Masters Set Five Stompin' Summary

Super-cards, ultra-rares you can actually duel with, lots of Survivors and Evolutions... Yep, it's a solid set. If it wasn't for the duplicate cards and how hard the Invincible cards are to use, this set would be totally perfect. Instead it's just an awesome addition to any collection.
