Fergie's released her first solo album and Jesse McCartney has dropped his second studio album in as many years. Kidzworld checks out their latest efforts!

Fergie - The Dutchess

The Dutchess is the debut solo album from the Black Eyed Peas' Fergie. You've probably already heard the pop anthem London Bridge as it shimmies its way up the radio hit-list, but this album is packed with plenty of other goodies, including the reggae-inspired Mary Jane Shoes and the irresistibly danceable Fergielicious. This is a great, sunny album to chase away those impending winter blues.

Fergie - The Dutchess Fun Facts

  • The title of this album is a play on the fact that Fergie (real name: Stacy Ferguson) shares a nickname with another famous Fergie (Sarah Ferguson, The Dutchess of York).
  • All of the Peas appear on Fergie's album and it was produced by will.i.am.
  • Fergie has denied rumors that she plans to leave the Black Eyed Peas and says they will "undoubtedly" continue to tour together.

Jessie McCartney - Right Where You Want Me
Jesse McCartney gets credit for effort on his latest album but not much else. Jesse's voice weakly limps across the surface of equally feeble ballads and his rock star posing is laughable. Tracks like Just So You Know and Right Where You Want Me and the ironically titled Blow Your Mind are so generic that they blend into one endless, mindless whine. If you're a fan of good music, this is not the album for you.

Jessie McCartney - Right Where You Want Me Fun Facts
  • Kelly Clarkson is listed as one of the producers on this album.
  • Also listed as a producer is John Shanks, who has produced songs for Hilary Duff, Ashlee Simpson, Alanis Morissette, Lindsay Lohan and American Idol's Bo Bice.
  • Jesse co-wrote all the songs on Right Where You Want Me.
  • Jesse says his favorite song on the album is Just So You Know.
