She-Ra was more than He-Man's sister. She was also the most powerful woman in the universe. We take a look at one generation's favorite princess!

She-Ra - Main Characters

  • She-Ra - AKA Princess Adora, She-Ra is the twin sister to Prince Adam, who is also known as He-Man. She is a revolutionary whose aim is to free the planet of Etheria from the evil Hordak.
  • Bow - She-Ra's right-hand man and fellow member of The Great Rebellion. He's the best archer in all of Etheria and has a horse named Arrow.
  • Princess Glimmer - Another member of The Great Rebellion and daughter of Angella, Queen of Brightmoon, Glimmer has a staff that can repair things that are damaged. She can also fly and control fire.
  • Castaspella - Castaspella is also know as Queen of Mystacor and possesses great magical abilities including teleportation, materialization and shape-shifting. She is a member of The Great Rebellion.
  • Spirit/Swift Wind - Spirit is Princess Adora's horse who turns into Swift Wind the Unicorn when Princess Adora turns into She-Ra.
  • Hordak - The leader of Evil Horde, an army of savage warriors, most of whom wear a red bat symbol on their chests to convey their allegiance. He is also the former mentor to Skeletor, the main villain from He-Man.

She-Ra - Fun Facts

  • She-Ra: Princess of Power was a spin-off of the popular series He-Man and Masters of the Universe.
  • She-Ra was rumoured to be reintroduced in the third season of the 2002 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series but the series was cancelled after the second season.
  • Almost every episode of She-Ra featured a hidden character, Loo-Kee, that kids would have to look for (like Where's Waldo).
  • Loo-Kee also appeared at the end of every episode to tell kids the moral of the episode.
  • She-Ra's name was originally suppoded to be "Hera", after the Greek goddess and wife of Zeus but copyright issues forced the creators to change her name.
