LeAnn's husband, Dean Sheremet, co-wrote many of the songs on the album.
Bon Jovi and Reba McEntire both make guest appearances on Family.
Family was produced by Dann Huff, who has produced albums for Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Keith Urban.

J. Lo has returned to her dance music roots with this light, upbeat record. It's a comfortable, unsurprising album that is full of hooks, but not too many twists and turns. The production is impressive, but the album doesn't have a particularly current sound and Jen's vocals are as weak as her "I'm not pregnant" routine.
