WALL●E Games, Sonic Video, Skype on PSP & LEGO Batman

Apr 22, 2016

Welcome to the new year and all the new game news that comes with it! We're starting things off with news about WALL●E games, a sweet Sonic the Hedgehog game trailer, info on Skype for the PSP and some LEGO Batman game pictures. Check it all out here, and don't forget the list of all the new games that drop this week for every game system from Nintendo DS to Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PSP and even for your PC!

The Royal Wii

The Queen of England has been ruling for over 55 years now but has started taking time off to do the same thing you do - play with a Nintendo Wii. Prince William got one for Christmas from his girlfriend, but as soon as the Queen saw it she insisted on giving it a try. A quick game of bowling later and she was hooked. Not only that - she's good at it! Now poor Prince William has to share his Christmas present with his gadget-loving royal grandma.

THQ's Got Game!

He's cute, he's square and he's been cleaning up our junk for 700 years. He's WALL●E! Disney and Pixar, creators of brilliant movies like The Incredibles and Ratatouille, are releasing the new WALL●E movie this summer. To celebrate, THQ has games to go with it for DS, Mac, PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. You'll be able to control WALL●E through 10 worlds, some from the movie, some new, as well as multiplayer modes. Check it out this June!

New Sonic Video Game Trailer

The blue blur is back with another racing game in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity for PS2 and Wii. It drops tomorrow but the video trailer of the game in action, complete with two new characters - Silver and Blaze, right here!

Voice Chat on PSP, Kinda

If you have a PSP, we may have great news for you! Sony just announced that you can use Skype, a free internet voice chat, through the new Sony PSP Slim. You need to hook your PSP up to the internet, have a Memory Stick Duo and have your own free Skype account and then you can use it. However, the bad news is that it only works on the PSP Slim, if you have one of the older PSP systems you're outta luck.

Here's the thing, the PSP-Slim and the original PSP are the same system except one's smaller. So, why is Sony leaving original PSP owners out in the cold?
