Music Buzz #19, Lance Bass in Outer Space

1 *NSYNC is the hottest band on the planet and it looks like Lance Bass may be leaving the planet for a trip into outer space! MTV reported that the 22 year-old could be the next tourist into orbit. Talk about a "popodyssey" tour! Mircorp, a Dutch space-tourism company, announced that Lance is in negotiations to fly on a Russian Soyuz rocket to the International Space Station. If the trip is a go - then Lance, who turns 23 in April, will be the youngest person to go into orbit (not to mention the first vocal group hottie to hit space!) However, more recently Russian sources have said that it's not going to happen and that talks between Lance's "people" and themselves have broken off.

1Lil' Romeo fans get ready to hit the ticket office. Lil' Romeo is hittin' the road in March for a 15-date US tour. The lil' rapper kicks off his first show on March 8, 2002 in Jacksonville, Florida and wraps it up on April 28, 2002 in Dallas, Texas. Romeo will perform his new single, 2 Way, plus other new tunes from his upcoming CD, Game Time (out June 4, 2002.) Click here to see if he's coming to your home town.

1Fans of Kurt Cobain may be able to get a glimpse into the mind of the tortured musician who fronted Nirvana until his death in 1994. His ex-wife, Courtney Love, is shopping two of his journals around to publishers. The journals include early song workings of Smells Like Teen Spirit, lists of his fave albums, heartbreaking letters and descriptions of being a drug addict. Do you guys think it's wrong to make somebody's private thoughts public knowledge?
