Magic: The Gathering :: First Decks, Games and Tournaments

Jan 04, 2019

Ever since I can remember my dad has been playing Magic: The Gathering and he introduced it to me when I was six. He gave me one of his Magic decks, which was black and based on destroying things.

I kept that deck and played for the first time against others in a Magic Tournament. I remember not playing very well because I didn't play very hard - I played as I would against my dad. I waited for my big creatures and consequently got whooped by elves.

After that, I made my own deck based on generating Mana and playing the dragon legends with planar portals. I entered an Arena League and ended up coming fourth. Now I play a Nomad deck and I'm always in tournaments.

Magic Tournaments are great because you get to play different people and try different tactics. If you're lucky maybe make some new friends (unless to you that's unethical.) I enjoy playing tournaments because it gives me a reason to play, though I don't see too many people playing them.

This is to ra, you can't beat anyone if they had 1 card. If I had a real life duel right now with you, you would lose. Why? Cause you're a fake.
