Super Street Fighter, FIFA World Cup, and Bang Attack

Apr 23, 2010

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Super Street Fighter, FIFA World Cup, and Bang Attack!

Super Street Fighter IV

Super Street Fighter IV is a stand-alone updated version of SFIV, adding in ten characters, ultra combos, and a few new game modes. Of the new characters, we get Guy and Cody from Final Fight, classic fighters T Hawk and Dee Jay, and an all-new fighter Juri who's actually the first in Street Fighter history to use Tae Kwon Do! Even the car and barrel bonus stages from Street Fighter II are back!

FIFA World Cup 2010

The world's most popular sporting event, the World Cup, is getting a boost this year from the world's most popular sports video game series, FIFA Soccer. The world cup this summer in South Africa will feature 32 different national teams battling it out for the big trophy, but the video game lets you play as any of 199 different teams, any of whom can win qualification and the Cup! The graphics have been improved, and you can even see the rabid fans close-up in the stands painted up in their national colors and cheering on their team. The penalty kick system has also been improved, taking into account just how much pressure is on each player to succeed! It gets a lot tougher to make a simple kick when you know almost a billion people are watching you.

Bang Attack

Bang Attack is a hammerin' puzzle game just now coming to Wiiware in North America, having been out in Europe for almost two years now. Clear matching shapes by hammering them with the A button, or clean up that one piece that's ruining a combination by flicking it away with the Wiimote. Building up enough points lets you refresh the whole screen of shapes and start anew. You get multipliers for keeping your hammer going as quickly as you can, earning you even better high scores.
