MLB 10: The Show vs. MLB 2K10
It's baseball season again! And, thankfully, that means it's baseball video game season again too. MLB 10: The Show is coming out for PS2 and PS3, while MLB 2K10 releases for PS3 and Xbox 360 over the next week. MLB 10: The Show is touting its new home run derby, the ability to call pitches while playing as the catcher, and more realistic fans. MLB 2K10 has improved graphics, a new My Player mode, and, most interestingly, the first person to successfully pitch a perfect game (and record it) in MLB 2K10 will receive a $1,000,000 prize. It's only been done 18 times in real baseball history, and they've kind of been trying for a long time, so... It's not easy.
Mega Man 10
Mega Man 9 gave the world a new 8-bit Mega Man game, and it was just as spectacular (but hard) as the old Mega Man games were. Well they're doing it again, all new levels, all new music, but in 8-bit classic style. This time, there's an easy mode to make it at least possible for beginners to play without immediately dying, and Proto Man is a selectable character!
Sonic Classic Collection
It's Sonic the Hedgehog 1 through 3 plus Sonic & Knuckles. It's for your DS. There you go! That's all I need to hear! Awesome! There's not a lot more to it, but thankfully you can now save your game at any point! Sonic & Knuckles also includes the ability to play as Knuckles in Sonic 2 and 3, just like the original cartridge did. All four games are totally worth playing, and should get you totally hyped for the upcoming classic-style high def Sonic 4 (haven't heard of it? Here's the official site.).
