Final Fantasy XIII, Rocket Racing, and Muscle March

Mar 05, 2010

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Final Fantasy XIII, Rocket Racing, and Muscle March!

Final Fantasy XIII

It's been a long time coming: the next Final Fantasy is finally here. In North America, we're even lucky enough to get it on Xbox 360 as well as PS3 (even if it has been out in Japan since December). This game stars Lightning, the female former military sergeant, as she attempts to save her sister. The battle system has been called the best ever in the Final Fantasy series, and the graphics are just ridiculously awesome. You will be in awe.

Rocket Racing

Rocket Racing, a PSP Mini (which can be played on the PS3, too!) coming out next week, combines racing action with sci-fi rocket power. The top-down racer gives players both challenge and grand prix modes to complete, pitting their skills against the computer. But as for multiplayer, a party mode is added which lets players take turns setting the best time on a short course, a game that will likely remind you of H-O-R-S-E. One extra quirk to gameplay is the "grinding" feature, which boosts both your score and your speed if you point your vehicle's rockets at the wall as you turn.

Muscle March

If you thought Noby Noby Boy was weird, then... Well, this Japanese Wiiware game is really weird, too. In Muscle March, you play as any of six different bodybuilders, or a polar bear, as you chase down the protein thief! The protein thief runs away from you, bursting through walls as he goes. He flexes his muscles in a different way with each wall he breaks through, and you have to match his pose to fit through the wall. No, it doesn't make any sense, I know. But still, Muscle March promises that it's the perfect game for men, women, and polar bears, so sign me up.
