Play as four different versions of Spider-Man makes this game 4x more exciting! See how in our review.

Mysterio is after a tablet that will make him super powerful. However, all the pieces of the tablet has been split up and separated in four different universes. In each of these universe, there is a different Spider-Man who is tasked by Madame Web to stop Mysterio from achieving his goal.

Four times the Spider, Four times the Fun

Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions features four different Spider-Man, each with their own gameplay styles, visual world, and even voice actor. Amazing Spider-Man lives in a realistic world while [kwlink 6137]Ultimate Spider-Man[/kwlink] wears the Venom suit and can use his rage to punish enemies in his brightly colored universe. Spiderman 2099 comes from a hero worshipping world and can use bullet time to dodge attacks. Noir Spidey is not as strong as the other three and uses stealth to get around.

Even the enemies are different in each world. Doctor Octopus 2099 is a girl and Ultimate Electro is made of pure electricity! The Ultimate universe has the most changes, with Ultimate Carnage being super scary.

Spider vs. Bugs

Overall, the game is exciting and fun. The game captures the mood perfectly and boss fights are pretty epic. The levels are well made and you have optional challenges to complete that earns you points that can be used to upgrade Spider-Man and unlock bonus costumes. The game is rarely boring and only sometimes repetitive. There is no massive free-swing New York, but there is enough web swinging to keep you happy.

However, there are still some bugs that may pop up as you play, including game freezes and other things that may require you to reboot. Additionally, the game camera is not perfect and can get annoying as Noir Spider-Man. Still, combat is smooth and fun and the game is great for any Spider-Man fan.
