Step Up 3 Blu-ray Review

Dec 21, 2010

Liked the previous Step Up movies? Then you’ll love Step Up 3! It’s got sensational music, wicked choreography and looks great in its Blu-Ray presentation!

The Story

Step Up 3 stars two street squads facing off in the World Jam – the Olympics of hip-hop dancing. Old characters and new ones make the dancing in this film come alive. You might even call some of the moves “gravity defying”…

The Friendship

The main relationship in Step Up 3 is the friendship between Moose (Adam Sevani) and Camille (Alyson Stoner). They’re BFFs but often get mistaken as a couple. Moose loves to dance but has promised his parents he’ll focus on getting a college degree. But he just can’t help himself, and finds himself gearing up to compete in the World Jam. Meanwhile, Camille feels left out because Moose is being secretive and ditching her all the time to secretly go dancing.

The Crush

There’s also a second relationship in Step Up 3, between Luke (Rick Malambri), a filmmaker and the leader of the dance crew that Moose joins, and Natalie (Sharni Vinson), a dancer. What Luke doesn’t know is that Natalie is the sister of one of his biggest dance rivals and she’s actually been planted as a spy to get the dirt on his crew before the big World Jam competition…
