Quiz the Coach - I Always Get Cramps

Sep 22, 2017

So you dig sports but need some help with your game? Don't understand some of the rules of football, basketball or hockey? Got a gripe about P.E. class, skateboarders, cheerleading, teammates or coaches, or anything? Why not ? The Kidzworld Coach can help ya work out team problems or give ya tips and advice to improve your game - all ya gotta do is ask!

Hey Coach,

I was playing soccer with my mom and I looked somewhere else and my mom went to kick the ball, but kicked my balls instead. I fell on the ground holding my nuts. My mom checked them, and they were ok, so we kept playing after I felt better. My mom told every woman she knew that she kicked me in my nuts and I was so embarrassed. They asked her to show how she did it and she would show them how she kicked me. It hurt, but my mom still jokes about it all the time and I wish she would stop!

Hey BallBUSTer,

The Coach feels your pain, having been on the wrong end of a few of those ball-busting sporting accidents himself. Getting hit in the nuts is probably the worst pain a guy can experience (recent studies by several very smart professors have shown that getting hit in the balls is actually more painful than being dumped by a really good looking girl or watching your mom drive the car over your skateboard.) While it's always kind of funny to see someone else get hit in the nuts, it's not very funny for the person who's lying on the ground in pain. Your mom should've been more sensitive to your pain and had no right to joke about it with her friends, especially if you don't think it's funny. Tell her you don't think it's funny and let her know that it makes you upset when she jokes about it with her friends. Your mom probably doesn't realize it makes you upset and may think that you see the whole incident as a big joke as well.
