The Donnas

Atlantic (2002)

The Donnas invite you to rock out and spend the night with their latest CD, Spend The Night. You won't be disappointed cuz this CD kicks so much butt - that you may never take it out of your CD tray.

You may not know The Donnas yet, but Spend The Night is sure to hurl this punk-rock foursome into orbit. This disc is bursting with hard driving guitar riffs, catchy lyrics, pounding drums and plenty of thrashy cowbells. This is definitely not a chill out CD - it's an album to rock out to.

The first single, Take It Off sets the pace for an album filled with songs about boyfriends gone sour, hookin' up, partying, attitude and the rock 'n roll life. Their '70s punk-pop sound, plus a hint of The Ramones, a dash of The Go-Gos and a pinch of Sum 41, makes you wish you were partying with The Donnas. Spend The Night is one of those albums that never calls your fingers to the skip button. There are plenty of gems like All Messed Up On You, Who Invited You and Too Bad About Your Girl.

If you don't have Spend the Night, get it and snag bragging rights among your friends for discovering The Donnas. These girls know how to rock and Spend The Night is proof!
