Rooney got airtime on the hit Fox TV Show, The O.C, but is their album worth your allowance? Kidsworlds got the scoop!

If you're a fan of The O.C you've already heard and seen the band Rooney. Now the question is, should you buy their CD or stick to snippets of tunes from the show? Get the 411 on Rooney's CD right here!

Rooney: Classic High Notes

The first time you listen to Rooney, one thing will become clear; they are a classic rock band. There is no pop-punk wailing, no hip hop rhyming - it's all smooth harmonies and catchy melodies. And it's all good, baby. Rooney - made up of Ned Brower, Taylor Locke, Louie Stephens, Robert Carmine and Matthew Winter - are totally beattle-esque. It's not that Rooney is copying the fab four from Liverpool - it's more like they are picking up where the Beatles left off. And it's about time, dude!

Rooney: Modern Pitfalls

To be completely honest, the only fault to be found with Rooney's debut CD is that they released their weakest song as a single. I'm Shakin' isn't a bad song, but it's more repetative and less original than the other tunes like Sorry Sorry, Daisy Duke and the killer track, If It Were Up To Me. While I'm Shakin' is a hot tune, the rest of Rooney's album is smokin' hot!

Rooney: Final Notes

Looks like Seth Cohen and The O.C gang definitely know great music when they hear it. Rooney is what real rock is all about. Rock on!
