Celebrity Birthdays

  • Feb. 7th - Ashton Kutcher turned 26.
  • Feb. 11th - Kelly Rowland hit 23 and Jennifer Aniston turned 35.
  • Feb. 20th - Brian Litrell from the reunited Backstreet Boys turned 29.
  • Feb. 22nd - Drew Barrymore hit 29.
  • Feb. 25th - Cutie Hobbit Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee) hit 33.
  • Feb. 27th - Chelsea Clinton hit 24.

    Billy Talent's Punk Rock Accident

    Punk rock group Billy Talent had a mishap on stage. Lead singer Ben Kowalewicz was so into performing their hit single Try Honesty that he threw his mike stand - and accidentally hit the drummer. Aaron Solowoniuk was knocked unconscious and was rushed to the hospital. Obviously the Billy Talent concert they were in the middle of in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada was cancelled. Aaron received 18 stitches - ouch! Aaron made a speedy recovery and the Billy Talent tour continued.

    Justin Timberlake in Court

    Justin Timberlake was spotted at a Los Angeles courthouse late in February 2004. No, he wasn't finally being brought up on charges due to the "wardrobe malfunction" at the Super Bowl late in January. Justin Timberlake was simply there for research. Timberlake is going to be playing a reporter in the upcoming movie Edison and so JT was shadowing a real-life Associated Press journalist. The reporter Justin Timberlake was following has said, "He was sharp. He seemed attentive and interested in learning this stuff. He has a real interest in developing his part." Here's hoping there is no wardrobe malfunction on his movie set!

    Solange Beats Beyonce to the Altar!

    Sure, there are tons of rumors that Beyonce is going to marry rap star Jay-Z, but if she does, it'll be the second marriage in the family. Beyonce Knowles' younger sister, 17 year-old Solange, got hitched the weekend of February 28th, 2004. Solange Knowles married college football star Daniel Smith. No word yet on how this will affect Solange's music career, which started with her debut album, Solo Star, released last year. Do you think 17 is too young to get hitched?

    And The Oscar Goes To...
    The 76th Annual Academy Awards aired Sunday, February 29th, 2004. Big winners included Renee Zellweger (Best Supporting Actress), Charlize Theron (Best Actress), Tim Robbins (Best Supporting Actor), and Sean Penn (Best Actor). But the biggest score of all was for director Peter Jackson and the cast and crew of Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King. The film won all 11 categories it was nominated in - including Best Picture! Go Hobbits!
