Chewbacca of Hoth

Figure: Chewbacca of Hoth
Faction: Rebel
Cost: 22
Hit Points: 100
Defense: 17
Attack: +8
Damage: 20
Set #: 04/60
Rarity: Very Rare
Special Abilities:
  • Unique
  • Wookie
  • Deadeye - On this character's turn, if he doesn't move, he gets +10 Damage.
  • Gunner +10 - Can combine fire with adjacent allies who have Mounted Weapon, granting +10 Damage.
  • Industrial Repair 20 - Replaces attacks: touch; remove 20 damage from 1 character with Mounted Weapon.
  • Chewbacca of Hoth Strategy Tips

Team this big furry dude up with a big Mounted Combat fig, like an [kwlink]X-1 Viper Droid[/kwlink] or Rebel Snowspeeder. He can either boost their attacks or fix 'em up if they get blasted. He's also solid at attacking on his own in case some snot-faced Sith with a [kwlink]lightsaber[/kwlink] gets all in-your-face with the shooty fig Chewbacca's teamed up with. For bonus points, make that wookie roar noise each time Chewie takes a turn!

    Snowtrooper

    Figure: Snowtrooper
    Faction: Imperial
    Cost: 7
    Hit Points: 20
    Defense: 16
    Attack: +4
    Damage: 10
    Set #: 39/60
    Rarity: Common

    Snowtrooper Strategy Tips

They're cheap fodder, put them in a squad with a solid commander to power them up or they'll fall down faster than a skinny kid in a high wind.

    Mon Calamari Medic

    Figure: Mon Calamari Medic
    Faction: Rebel
    Cost: 8
    Hit Points: 10
    Defense: 12
    Attack: +0
    Damage: 10
    Set #: 17/60
    Rarity: Common
    Special Abilities:
  • Heal 10 - Replaces attacks: remove 10 damage from a living character.
  • Melee Attack
  • Strategy Tips

Rolling in at one-eleventh the cost of the strongest fig in the set, the Mon Calamari Medic is a walking [kwlink]band-aid[/kwlink]. With an attack that's about as fierce as tearing a band-aid off *owtch!* this fig won't put the hurt on anybody but can keep your other figs alive, open doors and chip in for the post-fight pizza. Mmm... [kwlink]pizza...[/kwlink]

    Uggernaut

    Figure: Uggernaut
    Faction: Fringe
    Cost: 34
    Hit Points: 100
    Defense: 16
    Attack: +6
    Damage: 20
    Set #: 58/60
    Rarity: Rare
    Special Abilities:
  • Ugnaught
  • Furious Assault - Replaces turn. Can move up to 12 squares, then attack each legal target once.
  • Mounted Weapon - Only allies with Mounted Weapon or adjacent allies with Gunner can combine fire with this character.
  • Rigid - Can't squeeze.
  • Twin Attack - Whenever this character attacks, it makes 1 extra attack against the same target.
  • Uggernaut Strategy Tips

This beast is a great clanking heap of chaotic fun. It's easy to hit and can't take much damage but if you get a chance to run it up to a cluster of your opponent's troops and press the big red death blossom button, things get messy. It really needs someone to help negate cover and maybe some figs to help Combine Fire, but it can make a total mess with a few lucky rolls. Just make sure to get it some cover before your opponent turns it into scrap.

    Darth Vader, Unleashed

    Figure: Darth Vader, Unleashed
    Faction: Imperial
    Cost: 50
    Hit Points: 140
    Defense: 23
    Attack: +15
    Damage: 20
    Set #: 32/60
    Rarity: Very Rare
    Special Abilities:
  • Unique
  • Dark Armor - Whenever this character takes damage, he reduces the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 11. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.
  • Melee Attack
  • Double Attack
  • Force Powers:
  • Force 2.
  • Force Renewal 1.
  • Force Grip 4 - Force 4: replaces attacks: sight; 40 damage.
  • Force Sense - Force 1: usable only on this character’s turn: Enemy characters lose Stealth for the rest of the round.
  • Lightsaber Throw 5 - Force 5: replaces turn: Choose one enemy within line of sight, ignoring cover. Make two attacks against the chosen enemy and against each character adjacent to that enemy.
  • Darth Vader Unleashed Strategy Tips

His Dark Armor and high defense let him take a few hits, so get [kwlink]Darth[/kwlink] into the thick of things and let him kick some butt as his Force points build up. Then, when you get a chance, pitch his [kwlink]lightsaber[/kwlink] at a cluster of opponents and watch 'em all fall down. Heck, combine him with the Emperor Palpatine fig from the original [kwlink]Rebel Storm[/kwlink] set or the recent Rebels and Imperials set and he can start chucking his 'saber on the first turn!

    Caamasi Noble

    Figure: Caamasi Noble
    Faction: Fringe
    Cost: 5
    Hit Points: 10
    Defense: 12
    Attack: +0
    Damage: 0
    Set #: 48/60
    Rarity: Common
    Special Abilities:
  • Diplomat - This character is not a legal target, and does not count as the nearest enemy, if an enemy without Diplomat is in line of sight. These restrictions apply even to adjacent attackers.
  • Caamasi Noble Strategy Tips

This dude just wants to chat. With no attack, he relies on being a total wuss to keep himself alive. If you put a few of these in a squad they can block up a hallway for you or open doors, but they'll fall apart fast if there aren't any real targets for your opponent to shoot at.

    Princess Leia of Cloud City

Figure: Princess Leia of Cloud City
    Faction: Rebel
    Cost: 14
    Hit Points: 60
    Defense: 16
    Attack: +8
    Damage: 20
    Set #: 19/60
    Rarity: Rare
    Special Abilities:
  • Unique
  • Force Powers:
  • Force 2.
  • Force Sense - Force 1: usable only on this character's turn. Enemy characters lose Stealth for the rest of the round.
  • Princess Leia of Cloud City Strategy Tips

This new Princess Leia fig lets you add a bit of "Peekaboo, where are you?..." to your squad so sneaky Yuuzhan Vong and other characters can't pull any weird tricks. She's a bit weak, but can blast small minions reliably and doesn't need to be out in the open to use her powers. Have her hang back, then user her power when you have a great chance to blast a ton of your opponent's figs apart!

Thanks to MasterShaper for pointing out the Yuuzhan > Force error. The Yuuzhan Vong are totally immune to all Force things, so if Leia tries that move all she'll get is a dose of "Ha-ha! Neener neener neener..."

    Star Wars Miniatures - K-3PO

    Figure: K-3PO
    Faction: Rebel
    Cost: 20
    Hit Points: 60
    Defense: 17
    Attack: +0
    Damage: 0
    Set #: 12/60
    Rarity: Rare
    Special Abilities:
  • Unique
  • Droid - Immune to critical hits; not subject to commander effects.
  • Droid Coordinator - Non-Unique Droid allies gain Speed 8.

  • Commander Effect:
  • At the end of this character's turn, two allies within six squares of this character who are the same size may switch positions.
  • K-3P0 Strategy Tips

Ok, he's a wuss. But he helps your squad kick butt! Switching two figs lets one fig make a full attack then get swapped for another fig, then that fig gets a full attack too. This is awesome. It kinda blows that he's a Rebel because they don't have many strong characters, but he'll still make your Gonk droids as fast as lightning! (Wait, no, he won't D'oh!)
