Jan 08, 2010

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Vancouver 2010, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, and Disney Stitch Jam!

Vancouver 2010

The Winter Olympics are so close, and for gamers, that means another set of olympic video games to try out. In this one, you can play as twenty-four different countries, representing at several skiing, sledding, snowboarding, or skating events for a medal. And then there are thirty different challenges throughout the events, in which you have to do even more than best your fellow Olympic athletes. Four players can go split-screen, or you can even compete for some serious world records online, fighting with the world for the best time or score.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney

The famous DS lawyering series is getting Wiiware remakes, for those of us who either don't have a DS or just enjoy having a big screen to yell "Objection!" at. If you've never played the original, you should really enjoy the storyline and evidence-gathering gameplay, which is absolutely like no other. This edition will cost 1000 Wii Points and future episodes will be added over time starting in May for 100 each.

Disney Stitch Jam

Coming out in March this year, Disney Stitch Jam is a rhythm game featuring the coolest blue alien in show business (Sorry, Avatar). Stitch's girlfriend, Angel, has been kidnapped, and you have to catch and shoot musical notes to get the melody running so you can save her. You get a choice of controlling all the action with either the stylus or regular buttons. Best of all, two-player co-op is included, and you don't even need a second cartridge to do it! Keep a look out for this one.
