Gotham City Impostors, Rhythm Party, and Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWII!

Feb 06, 2012

It is the day after the Super Bowl. Hopefully the team that you were rooting for won. If not, perhaps one of these newly released games will cheer you up? This week we preview Gotham City Impostors, Rhythm Party, and Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WII!

Gotham City Impostors

This Batman themed game is a downloadable first-person shooter for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Instead of the boring red vs. blue, you get to pick between a group of Batman wannabes and Joker wannabes. The wannabes dress up like their idols and use cool and wacky items such as grappling hooks, glider wings, rollerskates, and jack-in-the-box grenade launchers. If you like Call of Duty, but are looking for something with less blood and more silliness, this might be the game for you!

Rhythm Party

Known as Boom Boom Dance during development, Rhythm Dance is a Kinect dancing game produced by music and rhythm game giant Konami. The gameplay is fun and simple. Circles appear near your body on the screen and dots will float towards them. Hit the circles with your arms or legs just when the dot overlaps the circle. Some circles will require you to hit them from a certain direction, but for the most part you can freestyle however you like. Artists include Lady Gaga, Des-ROW, NAOKI, and the Village People.

Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWII

Take on the role of one of four pilots fighting in World War II. Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWII features over 20 different types of aircrafts and campaigns in Britain, Africa, the Eastern Front, and the Pacific Islands. A great air combat simulation for the Wii.
