The Yu-Gi-Oh! Online Dueling Video Game is Coming!

So you've had Yu-Gi-Oh! duels with all your friends and you're ready for your next challenge - how about taking on the internet? It used to be that you were out of luck if you wanted to challenge others online. But now Konami is working on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Online video game that'll let you duel online as well as chat, collect and trade cards. We have the 411 on where this game is at and how you can try it out for free!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Online Game Basics

The whole point of this game is to let you hop on the Net and duel against peeps who are on the far side of the planet. Once you install the game onto your 'puter you can register to get a name and password. The first time you log in, you'll get a starter deck of cards and you'll end up in a virtual lobby. From there you can chat with peeps, trade cards, challenge people to duels and even watch duels in progress. You can duel, build up your deck, log out when you're done then log back in and duel whenever you want!

How Can You Play The Yu-Gi-Oh! Online Video Game Now?

The best news about the Yu-Gi-Oh! Online game is that you can play it now! Kinda. What you can do is get your hands on a copy of the Beta of the game. Beta means that it isn't finished yet and that it's pretty buggy. But, it's also free! To get a copy you need to find a January 2005 copy of the Shonen Jump magazine. There's a CD included with the mag that has the game on it.

To duel online, you need a PC with this kind of horsepower.
