Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG New Decks, Cards & Monsters for 2005!

Are you ready to duel? You better be 'cuz the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game is dropping a ton of new cards in 2005! There are new theme decks, new expansions, bigger monsters, more powerful spells and more tournaments than you can shake Blue-Eyes White Dragon at. Here's the 411 on what's coming up.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournaments in 2005

If you're an expert dueler, you should play in Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments. You'll be able to find matches with the Duelist League at Toys 'R Us or at your local game store. Enter in them and you'll be able to win your very own Millennium Item pins and more prizes.

December 2004

  • Master Collection Volume 1 - A gold-colored folder with a booster pack of cards from each of the first six Yu-Gi-Oh! sets. This collector's piece also has six cards with new art.

    February 2005

  • Dragon's Roar and Zombie Madness Theme Decks! - These two decks are super-powerful decks that will tear apart most opponents. Each deck also has a unique card that you can't get anywhere else.
  • Master Collection Volume 2 - This platinum-colored folder has a pack of cards from Yu-Gi-Oh! expansions 7-12, plus six cards with new artwork.

    March 2005

  • Flaming Eternity! - This expansion will have more Fusion Monsters, more levelling up of old monsters and the "Sacred Phoenix of Nepthys" monster that'll keep coming back from the graveyard if it's destroyed.
  • Dark Revelation 1 - These cards are expert level cards that also come with strategy tips to help you win.

    May 2005

  • Water and Fire Theme Decks - These decks don't have names yet but one is full of Water monsters and spells while the other is packed with Fire cards.

    June 2005

  • Lost Millenium - This expansion that has a May 28 sneak-preview date and will hit stores in June.

    After June, the details are a bit sketchy, but here's a list of what's coming:

  • August 2005 - Dark Beginning 2.
  • September 2005 - The 16th expansion set plus more collectible tins!
  • October 2005 - Dark Revelations 2.
  • November 2005 - The 17th expansion set.
