Playstation 3 Home – Good News at Last?

Sony’s Playstation 3 has had a train-wreck of a launch! From a guy getting shot in a line-up to insane prices ($600!), a clunky game system and more, it’s been tough to find any love for the PS3. But, Sony’s new PS3 Home project sounds like a winner! It’s going to let PS3 owners create 3D avatars and join an online community where they can meet other PS3 owners, chat and more. It’s not ready yet, but some people have seen an early version and it looks good!

Spectrobes vs. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

If you like collecting monsters and battling with them, Nintendo’s Pokemon games have been king for years and they’re taking it a step further with Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, the first traditional Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS. But, there’s a challenger to the throne! Disney’s new anime-styled Spectrobes video game is all about digging up ancient fossilized critters called Spectrobes and battling the alien Krawl with them. These two games are set for some serious head-to-head competition!

  • Pokemon Diamond and Pearl launch in April 2007 and we’ll have more info soon.
  • Spectrobes launches on March 15, 2007, but come back tomorrow (March 13, 2007) for Gary’s Spectrobes game review!
