One Thanksgiving down, one to go (though I'm still so full of turkey I don't really want to think about it). Toronto was fun. We didn't see as much stuff as I wanted to because we were so busy hanging with the fam, but I'm cool with that.

We did go to the CN Tower, which was the tallest free-standing tower for 35 years, until it was beaten by a building in Dubai just last month. I never thought I had an issue with heights, but I seriously thought I was going to pass out when we got to the top. Yikes! Thankfully I managed to hold it together and didn't embarrass myself.

It was great to see my cousins. They seem to be settling into their new life in Canada pretty well. I was surprised that it hardly seems different at all up there, except their money is brightly colored and everyone has a slightly funny accent. It made me think that I'd really like to do more traveling. Not just four hour drives with my parents, but to countries where the culture is entirely different than ours. Maybe I'll backpack around Europe when I finish high school. Or maybe I'll go to South East Asia like Leonardo DiCaprio did in The Beach.

So what about all of you? Do you dream of traveling the world, or are you already doing it? What [KWLINK 2458]cool places have you been to? and let me know. I'd love to hear all about your plans/adventures.

Hope you all had a great Columbus Day while I was having my early turkey dinner!

Later,
Simon
