Michael Jackson :: The King of Pop

You may be wondering why you haven't heard much about this album. That's because it's only being released in places outside of North America, like Germany, Japan and the U.K. Here's the cool part: Michael let fans choose which tracks they wanted included on their country's version of the disc. Each album has its own flavor specific to the country where it's being released. The U.K. chose more dance songs (Rock With You, Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough), whereas Australia made enough picks to warrant a double album. All over the world, however, it's clear that people still love Michael Jackson, and in particular, they love hits like Billie Jean, Beat It and Smooth Criminal. That Jackson has created so many modern pop classics must make him pretty happy as he celebrates half a century on the planet!
