Wii Party, NBA 2K11/NBA Jam, and Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light

Sep 30, 2010

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Wii Party, NBA 2K11/NBA Jam, and Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light!

Wii Party

In a mixture of family board game and party video game, Wii Party lets you play as your Miis with and against the whole family, both on your screen and in the living room itself! Minigames may be played out on-screen, with your Miis may be shooting balloons while riding a rollercoaster, for instance, or in-person, where you may play a game of hide and seek using your real Wiimotes anywhere in the room! There's also another game in which the winner is whoever gets the Wiimote making a sound first, getting you up off the couch.

NBA 2K11/NBA Jam

It's been far too long since gamers could really and truly be like Mike, but he's back in NBA 2K11. That's right, #23 Michael Jordan is playable against all the current NBA stars. There's even one unlockable mode which lets you start with Jordan as a newly drafted rookie and play through his entire career your own way. All new dribbling and shooting plus Playstation Move support make for a really inventive new basketball game. But let's head on back to the past with NBA Jam, a remake of the classic side-scrolling two-on-two arcade basketball sensation. Simple controls, classic gameplay, and even a bunch of really interesting secret characters to unlock.

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light

In the first Final Fantasy game developed originally for the Nintendo DS, 4 Heroes of Light creates a storybook RPG adventure unlike any other. Hero Brandt has become an adult, (at the tender age of fourteen in this kingdom) but during his ceremony, he finds out there's a princess that urgently needs saving. You get to customize your character along his adventure with special weapons and armor while also unlocking any of twenty crowns to determine your specialties in-game.
