LittleBigPlanet 2, Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves, and Plants vs. Zombies

Jan 13, 2011

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview LittleBigPlanet 2, Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves, and Plants vs. Zombies!

LittleBigPlanet 2

So LittleBigPlanet allowed you to take their platform game and make your own innovative levels, right? Well, LBP 2 adds to that just a bit by letting you make any game of any kind! Any genre! It comes shipped with user-made racing games, rhythm games, 8-bit retro wonders, and everything, all due to the amazing new game creating tool within LittleBigPlanet 2. Oh, and there's also an awesome story for you to play through in the regular game, with new features like grappling hooks 'n' stuff. I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on this and finally make my dream game: A fantasy RPG chronicling the epic battle between my dogs and the kittens across the street.

Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves

Included on the disc with LittleBigPlanet 2 is a spin-off game using either your normal Dualshock controllers along with the new PlayStation Move technology. The star of LittleBigPlanet, Sackboy, has got himself caught in the time of the dinosaurs, and he's going to need some help to beat Terrance Dactyl and Big Rex so he can get back home. One player with the PlayStation Move controller points and shoots to clear obstacles while up to three others control Sackboy and friends to get past all the cavemen and dinosaurs as they appear.

Plants vs. Zombies

The computer instant classic from PopCap Games, Plants vs. Zombies, is coming to the DS this week, intact with all the original adventure mode, mini-games and all-new exclusive content. In Plants vs. Zombies, you plant a garden of plants each with their own special abilities as they combine to protect your backyard (and roof and pool in later levels) from an onslaught of goofy zombies with a taste for plants' brains (not that they have brains, but... oh whatever.).
