Kidzworld reviews Last Word, a board game where players race the timer to get the last word!
Who cares about bein' first? This is a game where you've gotta finish last in order to win! Last Word is one of the latest board games brought to you by Buffalo Games. To play, turn over a subject card, then turn over a letter card, and then race to be the last player! So if the subject is "Things Associated With Australia" and the letter is K, then players have to yell out as many answers as they can before the timer buzzes. But it's not about getting the most correct answers, but about getting the final answer - or, the last word - before the buzzer goes off. And the nerve-wracking thing is that this electronic timer has been programmed to go off at random times. It could be 11 seconds, 46 seconds, or two minutes - you'll never know what to expect!
