Tiger Triplets

Although they were born a year ago, a zoo in Mexico is celebrating the first public appearance of three adorable Bengal tiger cubs.

Bengal tigers are white cats with blue eyes and pink noses. They are extremely rare and hardly ever spotted in the wild. And, according to experts, for every 10,000 Bengal tiger births, only one emerges white.

These triplets have a white tiger father and a mother who comes from white tiger parents. Of the three, two are female and one is male.

The cubs follow a strict diet, which includes their mother’s milk and 22 pounds of mutton twice a week, as well as fresh poultry.

There are currently only about 250 white tigers in captivity.
