The third episode of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures has been released, and this one's for dog-lovers! It's called Muzzled, but does it keep all the charm and humour of the previous titles in this kid-friendly adventure game series?

The Story

Wallace and Gromit, while working on an any-flavor ice-cream maker (and they do mean any flavor, including bird seed and bubble gum) prepare for a big charity fundraiser by town newcomer Monty Muzzle, whose intentions aren't exactly saintly. Gromit quickly finds out that while Muzzle says he wants the town's pups to thrive, he's really scamming everybody. Muzzle is by far the best bad guy in the series so far, really fun to hate. Every character is interesting, with their own stories going on all at once, and it's great fun to watch.

Gameplay

The gameplay is the same as before, a point-and-click adventure. You solve puzzles by collecting items and using them in the proper places, basically. The puzzles in this episode aren't too easy or too hard, though, hitting the perfect balance. As good as the puzzles are, this game's really more about getting to the story, and hearing what all the interesting characters always have to say.

Verdict

Muzzled is the best Wallace & Gromit game so far, with perfect puzzles and a super storyline. If you like the claymation shorts and movies, these games are a fun and faithful addition to them. If you're a fan of adventure games, any game from Telltale makes for great fun, and the Wallace & Gromit ones just have more jokes involving cheese and crackers!
