Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huckjam Tour

Take Tony Hawk and some of his favorite skaters and BMX riders. Throw in the thrashin' tunes of The Offspring, Social Distortion and Devo. Add a pumpin' sound system with DJs and a light show that'll blow your mind and you've got Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huckjam Tour. It's even cooler than the name sounds and it's gonna be even better than the Gigantic Skatepark Tour that Tony's been on the last couple of years. The action sports and music show opened up on April 27th in Las Vegas - and Tony's now announced dates for 20 cities across North America starting October 9th in Portland, Oregon.

So who's gonna be there? Well, obviously Tony Hawk's gonna show - as are his skating friends, Bucky Lasek and Andy Macdonald. They're also bringing along a million dollar vert ramp and skate course so they can perform a full lineup of jumps, railslides, backsides and whatever else they decide to invent. Other athletes who'll be bringing some boom to the Boom Boom Huckjam Tour include BMXers Dave Mirra and Mat Hoffman and motorcross master, Carey Hart.

While Tony Hawk and Co. are ripping things up on their boards and bikes, bands such as The Offspring and Social Distortion will be providing the soundtrack. This sensory overload will be completed with DJs spinning more tunes, a pyrotechnic display and a laser light show. The best part is that you can probably afford to go to this tour. Ticket prices start between 18 and 25 dollars US.

You can win tickets to the BoomBoom HuckJam by entering Kidzworld's BoomBoom HuckJam Contest! Just click here.

They're throwing each other in the air, performing possibly dangerous stunts, not even mentioning that they have to wear those skimpy outfits in freezing weather.  And also, my sister got a severe head injury and a sprained neck while doing a stunt. That's more injured than i've seen a basketball player get.
