Kidzworld member, Austin58x, spoke up with a few things he had to say about the new Magic: the Gathering - Torment cards. See what this Magic fan has to say about the latest card set, right here.

Hi peeps. Kidzworld member Austin58x wrote in to tell us what he thought about the latest expansion for Magic: the Gathering - Torment! Here's what he had to say:

The new Magic: the Gathering - Torment set is pretty weak, except for a few things, it isn't very high on my Magic: the Gathering goodness scale. The old-skool stuff is tons better.

I admit I liked the nightmares and the whole necromancy thing they have goin' on but other than that I see very little good in the set after it is removed from Type Two Tournaments. I have seen maybe five cards that would even last in the Type One Tournament environment.

I play Magic: the Gathering every day and I have only used one specific card from the set. Ever since Urza's Saga, Magic expansions have kinda gone down hill. I gave this set a two because I think it isn't very good.

1I think is one of, or the worst, set there actually is made.

Odyssey

The novel was moderate and the nantuko were quite good. But no one needs the black heavy set of Torment.

1Actually, I find black very weak but green is very strong. Not as a main colour but at least as a support colour to blue or red.

1Torment is bad but not is bad as Oddysey. whenever you buy a booster pack you get a dumb rare enchantment. Believe me I've bought seven decks and they were all the same.

1Well I don't know about you but I think Torment and Odyssey are great expansions. Playing with both I realized there are some awesome combos you can get when mixing Torment and Odyssey. Well that's just my opinion. Also I think that the heavyness on the black is a must for Torment. What were you expecting from a expansion with the name of "Torment!"
