This is the sequel to a first book called Rumblewick’s Diary #1: My Unwilling Witch Goes To Ballet School – and there are more in the series to come! Basically, the story is a twist on the old witch character who has a pet black cat. Rumblewick IS that pet black cat and the books are told from HIS point of view. Which is, by the way, hilarious!

The Story

In this second book, Rumblewick experiences more trouble with his master – a young girl witch named Haggy Aggy who is extremely reluctant to do anything witchlike – all she wants to do is experience life as a regular, normal girl. Unfortunately, that’s not what the other witches want – they want Haggy Aggu to be as witchy as possible, like them!

So it’s always left up to Rumblewick to cover up Haggy Aggy’s un-witchlike behavior – the poor cat doesn’t want either him or her to get in trouble! The story told through Rumblewick’s personal diary begins with haggy Aggy deciding to go to a regular girls’ slumber party. But her aunt, Sassy, gets suspicious and wants to catch her niece doing anything unwitchlike – will Rumblewick be able to stop a disaster from happening?
