Space Invaders Extreme 2 :: Nintendo DS Game Review
Space Invaders Extreme 2 brings all the hyper-powered shooting from the first Space Invaders Extreme
Space Invaders Extreme 2 brings all the hyper-powered shooting from the first Space Invaders Extreme and adds a new Time Attack Mode, an enhanced battle system and expanded game play to create a sensory overload shooter worthy for your old school arcade fix.
It’s an Invasion!
Space Invaders Extreme 2 takes the classic Space Invaders formula and takes it to a whole new level. With more and varied enemies, constant on-screen action, psychedelic images and colours passing before your eyes and a danceable electronic soundtrack that reacts when you shoot or hit an invader, Space Invaders Extreme 2 is a feast for the senses. The twitch action gameplay will keep you on your toes as you try and stay alive against hoards of alien attackers.
Battle your friends, even if they don’t have the game for DS with Single-card downloadable play. This adds a huge value, as the addictiveness of the game can now be spread to a friend who doesn’t even need to own the game. Battle each other for hours as explosions and lasers light up your eyes and can sometimes be overwhelming, but it’s all just part of the chaotic, frenetic atmosphere that makes this Invasion so Extreme.
Great Arcade Challenge
If you’re in the mood for a fast-paced, action-packed old school arcade game wonderfully re-vitalized with explosive graphics and an excellent electronic soundtrack, Space Invaders Extreme 2 is the way to go. The only reason why you shouldn’t get this game is if you already own the first one. Space Invaders Extreme 2 doesn’t change much from its predecessor, but what the first game did well it did very well and Extreme 2 continues that trend.
