Introducing Roborover by top toymaker WowWee - he’s one cool talking, interacting, exploring robot that’ll really be your new BFF!

Remember those “futuristic” movies that promised we’d have human-like robots living among us by the time the 21st century rolled around? Well, although “robotic” devices do help out in almost every aspect of human life (think computers, etc.), those films were a bit off the mark. Until now. Introducing Roborover by top toymaker WowWee - he’s one cool robot that’ll really be your new BFF!

Fun Little Guy

Roborover is a happy little robot who plays games, lights up and interacts on a very basic level. In a nutshell, he’s a lot of fun! The design is great – bright yellow and very human-like. Roborover also has a carry handle on his back and heavy-duty treads (like those you see on bulldozers) that are fully functional and let him go almost anywhere: over most low obstacles and uneven surfaces, as well as outdoors. One thing you should know for inside play is that he’s slower on carpet and the treads do pick up dust, carpet fiber and hair – but the whole toy is easy to clean.

Battery Operated

Roborover is pretty easy to figure out right out of the box – just check the manual if you need extra help. Simply pop four C batteries into the robot, three AAA batteries for his matching five-mode remote, press ON and Roborover will immediately power up and start asking to go on an adventure with you! In fact, this little robot is a BIG chatterbox – he’ll talk to you and interact as long as you leave him on.

Play Modes

Like we said above, the remote has five modes with which you can play with Roborover. In Demo Mode he’ll show off by speaking and moving in all directions. In Explore Mode he moves around and talks your ear off. Game Mode includes two memory games where Roborover moves in a certain pattern and you have to repeat. In Lookout Mode he’ll scan the area and wait until he detects any motion before sounding his alarm (only works for 10 minutes at a time). Seek Mode allows Roborover to find you. Move away, hold the Seek Button and he’ll come looking for ya (sometimes he mistakes you for another object, though)!
