Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders Set :: Card Game Review

Yu-Gi-Oh! is taking over everything! Yu-Gi-Oh! is a cool TV show featuring the adventures of Yugi and his friends as they battle with duel monsters to prove who's the best dueler. Yu-Gi-Oh! is also a series of wicked video games for your Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance and Playstation. The biggest part of Yu-Gi-Oh! though is the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.

Everybody has cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon set but now you can get cards from the new Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders set as well. Gary's got the 411 on the set right here.

For the info on what the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game is all about, check out what Kidzworld member Art4Life has to say about it, right here. When you know what Yu-Gi-Oh! is all about, get back here to hear about the hot new Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders expansion.

Yu-Gi-Oh Metal Raiders

Less Junk!

Gary checked out the Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders set and the first thing he noticed was that they're missing all of the junk creatures that you could get stuck with when you open a pack of Yu-Gi-Oh! Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon cards. The creatures in Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders are stronger on average and some of the four-star creatures have attack scores as high as 2200!

Cool Random Cards!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders has a lot of yugioh cards that rely on coin flips to work. Like the Time Wizard - flip a coin when you summon it - win the toss and all of your opponent's creatures are wiped out! But, if you lose the coin toss, all of your creatures are wiped out and you take half their Attack in damage. Coin toss cards are super powerful, but they're risky.

Bigger Creatures!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders is full of big creatures. These creatures require tributes to summon, but they're very powerful and very cool.

More Pump Cards!

Now there are more yugioh cards than ever to power up your Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders creatures. Some creatures power up creatures like them, other cards power up single creatures and some cards can be re-used if they're lost.

More Fusion Creatures!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders has more Fusion creatures as well so you can load up your Fusion deck with more creatures than ever.

142 New Cards!

There are a total of 142 cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders expansion - 100 common cards, 22 rare cards, 10 super rare cards, 10 ultra rare cards plus a few cards that aren't listed on any rarity sheets.

The bottom line is that Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders is a great expansion. Yu-Gi-Oh! Metal Raiders has cool coin-tossing cards and a great selection of basic creatures so even new players will love it.
