Human Planet takes you around the world to meet all sorts of interesting people who do all sorts of incredible things, like hunt goose barnacles in Spain, herd camels in the Gobi Desert, mine sulphur from a volcano in Java and celebrate the falling rain in Africa!

Not only are the 80 stories that are told in this set amazing, the lengths that the producers went to make each episode will leave you awe-struck. Special featurettes attached to each show explain the harsh, sometimes even life-threatening conditions that were encountered behind the scenes – for example, filming in the Arctic, with shifting ice floes underfoot, was incredibly dangerous.
