The newest expansion to the Yu-Gi-Oh Card Game is here! Extreme Victory 5D brings two new archetypes to the game: Tech Genus, also known as T.G., and Meklords. T.G. monsters are synchro monsters that has spells and traps ; the Meklords are counters for the synchro monsters with abilities that can help you if your opponent plays synchro monsters!
Here are some of the feature cards in this set:
Meklord Army of Skiel:
This card gives you an extra 200 Attack Points for each face-up Meklord monster in your control. Furthermore, if this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon a Meklord Army Monster from your deck!
Meklord Army Granel:
This card is similar to Skiel, it gives you an extra 100 Attack Points for each face-up Meklord monster in your control. When you Normal Summon this card, you can pick one of your opponent’s face-up monster and cut their attack by half until the End Phase! This is really powerful if you need time to set up.
Tech Genus Wonder Magician:
This is a Spellcaster/Synchro/Tuner card! It can help destroy a spell/trap card on the field when this card is Synchro Summoned. It also allows you to Synchro Summon during your opponent’s Main Phase!
Tech Genus Halberd Cannon:
This is a Machine/Synchro/Effect card. A super powerful level 12 with 4000 Attack and Defence points, this card can also negate the summon of a monster and destroy it once per turn!
